This is a
recording made
from a gig at the Darwin
Suite of Derby Assembly rooms on September 12th
2003. It's a beautiful
live version of the CD track and features Andy Sheppard on
tenor sax. I
had the opportunity of working with Andy through
a Derby Jazz project
which married up known jazz players with lesser
known regional artists.
Andy worked with the band and I over a three day
period as guest
saxophonist and this is a lovely example of
where we got it right.
Thank you, Andy.

This was recorded
during
the 2006 tour. It's the longest
piece in the set and I love the journey of the
character through the
music. It gives the band a chance to
wig-out and for me to
indulge my proginess. Check out Dave's
Ebow-ing.

Also recorded in 2006. This song started
life as a big thrashy
affair, and whilst the band still kicks a great
groove with this, I
love playing it with just a minimal
arrangment. It really suited
this small but perfectly formed little pub in
Derbyshire.
